Inconsistent cleaning standards with dust and cobwebs visible!!! The noise from the nearby A34 is intrusive, making rooms feel claustrophobic. Limited hanging space in rooms is impractical!!!

Perfect spot for a getaway

Just had my second stay here and it’s awesome! Rooms are freshly done up, breakfast is included which is fantastic, and we even had a nice dinner in the lounge area. Super friendly staff made us feel right at home. My only knock? The dinner portions were kinda tiny for the price. Still, totally worth it!

We had a delightful stay at this charming spot. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us all feel right at home. The highlights were the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere, perfect for our family outings with three little ones in tow.

In my wife’s opinion, the play area could use some improvement. My kids wished there were more activities to keep them entertained during downtime.

I had a lovely time enjoying the delicious vegan dinner options and the cozy room that came with plenty of tea, coffee, and a sweet treat. The sun terrace was a perfect spot to relax, and the garden area was just as inviting. While the room was snug and the honesty bar was a bit lacking in options, overall, it was a delightful stay! 😄

the location is great for visiting highclere castle and the room was clean and comfy. the bar and restaurant were smart and had a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious. really enjoyed my stay here as this was my 2nd visit and just as good as the first time. loved the beautiful flowers and hanging baskets around the place.

the paintwork on the windows and doors is peeling badly, and needs some attention. also, the service could be a bit slow at times.

Breakfast service was quite slow, and I noticed some of the food items were cold. the experiences felt a bit mixed, with some aspects really shining, while others fell short.

The location was ideal for visiting Highclere Castle, which was just a short drive away. I liked that my room was clean and had a nice duvet, along with fluffy towels. the bathroom was quite small, and it could definitely use more power points. I had a pleasant experience during my stay.

The location is spot-on for touring nearby attractions. Enjoyed the cozy pub garden and the delicious steak dinner!
